About Dr. Perdue

Dr. Phil Perdue is one of Eastern North Carolina’s most recognizable orthopedic physicians, caring for ECU Athletics as a team physician for over 25 years! He is board certified and a North Carolina Top Doctor, who performed his fellowship training in sports medicine with the Cincinnati Bengals. Dr. Perdue has been with Orthopaedics East for over 25 years and specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacement and general orthopedics. In college, Dr. Perdue was an elite swimmer at the University of Virginia, ranked top 15 in the world. He is a proud father of three, and one of his children shared a similar passion for swimming, winning gold at the 2012 London Olympics.
