Alexis Heath, PT, DPT, is a graduate of High Point University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Throughout her clinical training, Alexis gained experience across a wide range of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, neurologic rehabilitation, and occupational health. She is passionate about patient-centered, holistic care, an approach shaped by her time serving underserved and uninsured patients through High Point University’s Pro Bono Clinic. Alexis has contributed to research on post-stroke grip strength rehabilitation and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
