Dr. Christopher McDowell is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic physician specializing in sports medicine at Orthopaedic East. He completed his fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, expanding his expertise in sports-related injuries and treatments.
Dr. McDowell’s commitment to patient care extends beyond the clinic. He is actively involved in the community, providing care for multiple high school athletic teams in the region. His dedication to local athletes reflects his passion for promoting healthy and active lifestyles.
Prior to his medical training, Dr. McDowell was an accomplished student-athlete at The Citadel, where he served as the football team captain during his senior year.
Dr. McDowell is happily married and is a proud father. We are thrilled to have Dr. McDowell as a valued member of our team at Orthopaedic East.
