About Drew
Drew earned his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Human Biology and a minor in Nutrition from North Carolina State University, graduating summa cum laude. He went on to complete his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University, where he received the Louise O. Burevitch Scholarship twice, an award recognizing a PA student committed to serving eastern North Carolina. His clinical rotations included orthopedic trauma surgery, sports medicine, and general orthopedics, his latter rotation taking place right here at Orthopaedics East.
Drew is passionate about building strong connections with patients through communication, empathy, and education. He takes pride in ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery. Outside of work, he enjoys time on the water (including slalom water skiing), snow skiing in the winter, cheering on his favorite sports teams, attending live music events, and spending time with family and friends.
