Shawn Hopkins, PA-C, is a physician assistant with over 17 years of experience at Orthopaedics East. His journey in orthopedics began in 1996 as a private orthopedic surgical tech, where he discovered a passion for patient care that led him to pursue a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University. As the current Physician Assistant Supervisor, Shawn is known for his caring and attentive approach, always taking time to answer patient questions. Outside the office, he enjoys coaching his daughter’s softball teams, traveling with family, and relaxing on the water—often saying, “Any day on a boat is a great day.”
