Kimmee Vernelson, PA-C, was inspired to pursue a career as a physician assistant after sustaining a knee injury playing volleyball, an experience that showed her firsthand how impactful great care can be. With a passion for helping people recover and get back to what they love, Kimmee brings an energetic and supportive approach to every patient visit. She earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from The University of Alabama and completed her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at East Carolina University. Kimmee hopes patients feel relaxed and confident working together on their recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, beach volleyball, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spending time with friends and family.
