About Hip Replacement
Repair Procedures
Repair procedures may be required for patients with advanced osteoarthritis, but are not suitable for all patients. Your Orthopaedics East physician can perform a comprehensive evaluation to determine if you are a good candidate.
Replacement
A total hip replacement is the traditional option for patients with advanced osteoarthritis. Generally, any replacement procedure, including hip resurfacing, is only performed for those who have exhausted their nonsurgical options and whose condition is significantly impacting quality of life. If you would like to be evaluated for hip replacement, please call our office at (252) 757-2663.
